AWS says it is developing the Fastnet subsea cable to connect Maryland and Ireland, aiming to launch by 2028 with a capacity of 320Tbps+ and buried ~1.5m deep — Amazon Web Services (AWS) will lay a new subsea cable across the ocean floor, connecting Maryland and Ireland.
